The Utility Solutions BLUE STRIPE® Switch Hook Stick is a purpose built, heavy duty option for operating various switch components found inside pad mounted gear. The 1¼” diameter straight stick includes a stainless steel handle and a 3.5” steel hook.
The 1/2” diameter steel hook is dichromate coated and aligned with our patented BLUE STRIPE® feature. The stick is specifically designed for sectionalizing loadbreak switches and similar types of disconnect switches which require a large amount of torque. These applications often exceed the capabilities of traditional shotgun sticks.
The stick is made of high performance, closed cell foam filled fiberglass. All BLUE STRIPE® Fiberglass Sticks are manufactured to meet industry standards including OSHA, ASTM and IEC as applicable.
