Introducing the revised USGT-600, a 600 Amp personal grounds tester. The USGT-600 is portable, compact and sets up in seconds. The unit plugs into a standard 120VAC outlet rated at 15 amps or higher.
The USGT-600 utilizes a voltage (AC) at high current to measure voltage drop across personal grounding equipment. The resulting voltage drop is compared to the charts located in the manual and on the lid, and pass/fail determinations are made.
The unit is equipped with REACH technology. Using the integrated volt meter, a ground can be tested at various points to quickly troubleshoot and isolate defects in the assembly.
The unit has been updated to increase reliability, protect against thermal overload, and a new robust plastic case.
The USGT-600 can evaluate cable sizes #2 through double 4/0. Utility Solutions offers five optional adapters for use with the USGT-600 Grounds Tester.
