TE Connectivity’s (TE) Smart Limiter cable protector assists companies in rapidly restoring their network system to its most reliable state. When the limiters operate, they can be easily identified and replaced.

Fast installation in compact spaces through the use of ShearBolt connectors. No special tools are required for installation, only 11/16” socket for installation and 1/2” for removal. Connections are repeatable to the same standard with every installation. No changing of dies for using crimping tools that require calibration.

The limiter will only blow on secondary faults and effortlessly coordinate with network protector fuses. Minimal exposure to energized parts. Only the conductor being inserted into the limiter needs to be exposed making it very safe.

Fuse operation is entirely contained in a ballistic enclosure
