Jacket Seal & Shield Adapter Kit
Richards Manufacturing PCRK16 and PCRK12 kits provide a dependable solution for shield connections and re-jacketing of medium voltage power cables. These kits are designed for use on LC and Tape Shielded cables only.
The jacket seal tube is made from cold shrinkable EPDM expanded onto a spiral wound holdout. A tin-plated copper braid with solder-block provides a flexible connection to the metallic shield.
The kits can be used with Loadbreak and Deadbreak equipment at 600A for 15kV, 25kV, and 35 kV Voltage classes.
Each kit includes the following:
- Cold Shrink Jacket Seal
- Sealing Mastic (3 pieces)
- Constant Force Spring
- Tinned Copper Braid
