Disconnectable Joint Sleeve Restraint- "I" Style
Richards Sleeve Restraints provide mechanical and electrical benefits for Disconnectable Joint installations.
Restraints serve to keep the Sleeve properly seated. This ensures the Joint remains secure in extreme environments
(highly loaded joints, cables suspected of having pressure in strands from water ingress, etc).
“I” restraints (JRI) and/or “E” restraints (JRE) are supplied in quantities dependent on the specific bus configuration. For example, for a Disconnectable “I” Joint, only one (1) JRI is needed; and for a Disconnectable “Y” Joint, one (1) JRI and one (1) JRE.
Features:
- Stainless Steel Composition
- Low-resistance bleeder wire connection point
- 5/16" drive designed to prevent overtightening
