Deadbreak Cable Adapter
 Deadbreak Cable Adapters are used to adapt a multitude of medium voltage cable sizes to a standard housing size.
The cable adapter is installed onto the prepared cable and the associated housing (Deadbreak Elbow or Disconnectable Joint Sleeve) is pushed over the cable adapter. The adapters are designed to maintain an interference fit with the inside diameter of the cable entrance of the housing. Care must be taken when selecting the Cable Adapter size to ensure the adapter maintains an interference fit with the cable insulation system.
