Pole Life Systems is an easily installed system that lowers the structural attachment point in all damaged top poles, while maintaining the conductors in their current position. Installing the IS20 along with a VR30 will bring back structural strength to your distribution pole tops. Install a pole cap and you have permanently restored your pole tops extending the useable life of the pole and eliminating future O&M expenses. This can be used as a capital expense investment just like pole base bracing.
Product Details:
Material is solid 3/8" & 1/2" thick high strength composite, non-conductive, light-weight, fire retardant, corrosion free, low cost and structurally rated to 5,000 lbs. of additional strength per part.
Hardware is not included, compatible to all utility hardware and specifications.
Weight per kit: 11.20 lbs.
ANSI Tested Unit Strength: Vertical 1,850 lbs., longitudinal 1,250 lbs., transverse 2,850 lbs., while used with a 6" Post insulator, higher results with standard static mount hardware.
Installation: Requires a minimum of (2) 5/8" thru bolts in good wood with minimum 2" flat washers on top of included steel plates.
